American passport, nearing the end of first year of O-A visa. Going out and back in to Thailand just before visa expiration date. Then I should get a Stamp that is good for another year, I am then told to go and get a multiple re-entry stamp.
Now my first question::??
If I depart Thailand after the Paper O-A Visa has expired And having the stamp For one year. If I go out of Thailand am I allowed back in to Thailand on just the stamp and no valid visa?
Question 2:: Can I go out and back in more then once until the date of the Stamp expires?
Thank you for any and all advice. Really appreciate this group.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A holder of an American passport nearing the end of their O-A visa seeks clarification on re-entry procedures after departing Thailand with an expired visa but holding a stamp valid for one year. The key points highlighted include the importance of obtaining a Multiple Re-Entry Permit before leaving Thailand to maintain entry rights and understanding that multiple entries are possible within the stamp's validity.
if you like to travel multiple times you buy the Multiple Re-Entry Permit, that gives you unlimited entries during that second year and on each time you return you get the same date stamped as the last time you got when you used the visa just before the expiration date.
