What should I do while waiting for my Thailand visa approval from Warsaw Embassy?

Jun 26, 2025
Long waiting time - Warsaw.

My documents:

-BioData of passport

-Banks Statement 14400 Eur english from ING

-Employer certificate that I can work remotely in Thailand

-current photo

I have applied 17 jun, later I was asked to upload all my passport pages and return ticket from Thailand to Poland. Uploaded ASAP.

Since 17 jun my application has status pending approval (1).

Should I patiently wait or contact with embassy?

I stated that my ticket to Thailand is for 30 jun.

Any ideas?

EDIT: today my visa was approved;)

Thank You for your helpful report šŸ‘

Congratulations šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight āœˆļø to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

Anonymer Teilnehmer Financial evidence: amount of no less than 500,000 THB, e.g bank statements, sponsorship letter. It is recommended to provide copy of bank statement (in English or sworn translation into English) with closing balance min. 500,000 THB (or equivalent in other currency) for the last month (name of the account’s owner, balance and date must be shown).

You have a bit to wait yet i suspect .

They quote 10-15 working days processing time. So a bit to go, look again in 2 weeks

Long waiting time? It has only been 7 business days, if you factor in last week’s holiday. The embassy in Warsaw says usual time is 10-15 business days but that you should apply a month in advance.

Anonymous participant I didn’t say you didn’t apply ā€œdue to embassy guidanceā€, I said you should expect to hear back based on embassy guidance. If quicker, then you are pleasantly happy.
