What should I do if my DTV visa application is pending with no update from the embassy?

Good day!

I applied for the DTV visa on 27th April from Bangladesh. Got a call from the embassy on 7th May saying there might be a interview. The status then moved to pending approval. Since then 

no updates. Recently I sent a mail asking for an update but no reply.  Could it take more days or it would just be rejection?

No. Unfortunately that wouldn't help in Bangladesh.
