I applied for my visa online on the 15th to Thailand with the royal embassy out of ny. My trip is next week and it still states pending approval. I’m worried. Is there someone to call for further info?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user applied for a visa to Thailand and is worried because the application is still pending approval, just a week before their trip. Community members have suggested contacting the embassy for updates, noting typical processing times of around 15 business days, and highlighting a discrepancy in holiday considerations that may affect this timeline. They also provided a link for further contact with the embassy.

I’m not trying to be a jerk by asking this, but why are people buying airline tickets to Thailand before they have their DTV app approved

It's ridiculous to demand that because what if they refuse, then you're stuck with the airline tickets and what do you do then?

Fwiw, if it is less than 15 working days (holidays excluded), they would just tell you to reach out again in 15 days. Mine took 25 days total!

The post a processing time of 15 business days

SO

if you applied April 15th (a holiday) then 15 business days would not be until the 7th of May (the 5th is also a holiday there too)

Email them and see but they post that processing time on their website 🙂
