What are the recommendations for taking the second PCR test under the Test and Go program in Bangkok?

Hello, I just wondered if anyone could share any advice about the Test and Go, second PCR test (on day 5 or 6 after arrival into Thailand), in Bangkok please.

I tested negative on day 1 in Thailand, but as part of the Test and Go entry programme, I understand I need to take another PCR test on day 5 or 6.

I've contacted a number of hospitals on the government list (via the QR code from the pink quarantine form that I was given on arrival at BKK airport), but so far no one seems to be offering the service, or be able to help.

Has anyone else had any success / difficulty over the last few days with this please? I believe the rule as updated on Jan 7 (previously only an ATK was needed on day 6).

Many thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about experiences and advice for taking the second PCR test required under Thailand's Test and Go program, specifically in Bangkok. They initially tested negative on day 1 and sought information on where to get the second test on day 5 or 6. Several commenters provided suggestions for hospitals such as Princ Hospital Suvarnabhumi and Thainakarin private hospital, along with guidance on visiting the ASQ hotel for testing. There were also mentions of Medconsult for convenience and shared experiences from others regarding their testing journey.

Go back to the Asq Hotel you had your first test

They do.take photo copy of your passport and the paper work they given you when you had your first test.

That's what I done

I went to Thainakarin private hospital today. I went around 8:30 in the morning gave them the pink sheet and waited for 15-20 minutes. The did the swap test and around 2:30 pm they send me the results via email.

Medconsult can do the 2nd test and paperwork associated with it, if you dont want to deal with a goverment hospital.

Hi Eric, yes I went this morning and received the certificate this evening. It was very good and easy, I was in and out in around 10 mins. I'm just trying to be sure if there's anything else I need to do with the results, or whether I just print it off and that's it.

I'm still trying to find out about the Morchana app and paperwork actually Eric. I imagine it will be tomorrow before I know whether that is the case. I have also sent my result to my ASQ arrival hotel, so hopefully one way or another it will get to wherever it needs to go. I'll let you know when I find out more.

Thanks very much Eric. I was in touch with my ASQ hotel, and they have kindly uploaded my results to the Morchana app this AM. So hopefully one way or another we've been able to get it all sorted. All the best.πŸ‘

I do have the government list thanks Jason. I don't mind paying for it if needed, I'm mostly concerned about getting it right to tick all the boxes (for the Thailand Pass etc.), and hopefully be able to get on and make the most of my time here. Many thanks. πŸ‘

Princ Hospital Suvarnabhumi had a drive through setup going earlier in Jan which my parents used.

Try giving them a call tomorrow if that suits you.
