*This is not a test n go related question

Hello, I've been in Thailand for 4months and about to fly out of Thailand next week and will have to do a PCR test. I know I won't be allowed on board if I test positive at a clinic.

However, my question is if the test comes out positive, do I have to admit myself to a hospital or can I monitor my own symptoms/self isolate? Do clinics immediately report the positive cases to government?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about the process following a positive COVID-19 PCR test in Thailand before their departure. They question whether they would need to self-isolate at home or be admitted to a hospital and if clinics report positive cases to the government. Responses from the community indicate variability in policies based on location and the discretion of local authorities, suggesting mixed options for self-isolation. Additional official information is recommended for clarity.

you may not need a PCR test to enter the UK now but you will need one to board a flight and if you are transiting through another country.

It's really hit or miss. Sometimes they let you self isolate, sometimes they don't. I think it depends on who's in charge of the area you're in, and where you're staying (house, condo, hotel).
