I got my tourist visa extended already and it up on 1st May....typical! The day after amnesty is over. I’m on Phuket. Is it just a wait and see or should I be trying to leave on 1st May? Any advice appreciated as on my own here. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is seeking advice on whether to leave Thailand by May 1st after their tourist visa extension expires, especially since this date falls right after the government amnesty period ends. A commenter suggests either preparing to leave or waiting to see if the government announces any extensions after the amnesty period.

Well, you're stamp isn't covered under the free blanket amnesty until the 30th, so you either start looking how to get out of the country OR you wait it out and see what happens on the 30th as far as IF the government gives additional time or not.
