TLDR : Answer Summary
Several users shared their experiences with DTV application processing times in Jakarta. While one user has been waiting for 3 weeks and is still pending, others report similar timelines, with one having only just moved to pending approval after 15 days. Concerns about upcoming visa expirations were also noted, as some users are planning their applications with close deadlines. The consensus indicates that a waiting period of 3 weeks is not unusual, especially considering recent public holidays.
I'm on day 15 and I just moved to pending approval today.

I moved to pending approval on last Friday. So it is 5 days total (3 working days) now.

LoyalLizard6446 If no email comes before your visa expires, what will you do next?

MagentaLobster2389 I am looking for ways to extend visa in Jakarta or I will do a visa border run may be. Hopefully not, because with new year holidays, that will take longer time.

LoyalLizard6446 just extend your visa online. It’s very easy
You should not leave the country while your application is still pending

LoyalLizard6446 Can I extend the visa here? A lot of people are saying it’s not allowed.
Or do you think calling the Embassy to check the situation would be better?

MagentaLobster2389 When I check online, they said we can extend visa on arrival here with around 1,000 THB, need to upload some documents then visit the nearest immigration in person to get approval. But I need to dig deeper for that.
Calling the embassy could be a good idea but at 'pending approval' stage, some said it is already in the hand of immigration bureau in Thailand.

Yes and December Thailand had many public holidays. Waiting for 3 weeks is not long at all to get a 5 years stay in Thailand
