Are DTV applications in Jakarta taking very long?

It has been total 3 weeks from application date and status is pending approval. My visa here will be expired on 28th Dec.

MagentaLobster2389 When I check online, they said we can extend visa on arrival here with around 1,000 THB, need to upload some documents then visit the nearest immigration in person to get approval. But I need to dig deeper for that.

Calling the embassy could be a good idea but at 'pending approval' stage, some said it is already in the hand of immigration bureau in Thailand.

MagentaLobster2389 I am looking for ways to extend visa in Jakarta or I will do a visa border run may be. Hopefully not, because with new year holidays, that will take longer time.

Yes and December Thailand had many public holidays. Waiting for 3 weeks is not long at all to get a 5 years stay in Thailand
