My passport will expire on September 2018, and my work permit will expire on 2019.
After my passport renewal, do i have to do anything with work permit? Apply again or something like that.
Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When you renew your passport in Thailand, you will need to address your work permit. It's important to note that you cannot simply transfer your old visa or work permit to your new passport. You should bring both your old and new passports to immigration to inquire about the necessary steps. Some users suggest that while visas can be transferred, there may be instances where applying for a new visa or extension is required, particularly if your work permit has not been linked with your new passport.
Keep in mind the O/P is asking what to do with their WORK PERMIT when they have a new passport, NOT what to do with their old and new passport in regard to their visa/extension.
Jonathan Daniel I also got a letter also from Finnish embassy. I need to apply new visa/ extension. Now I wait to get it stamped to my passport. That happened this week.
a Visa is a sticker inside your passport. If you get a new passport you can must both passports at border check points. If you're on an Extension of Stay you can transfer the Extension towards your new passport. So no need to apply for a new visa.
