What should I do if my address isn’t listed on the DTV application website and how should I translate my documents for the application?

Hi everyone! I have a few questions about the DTV application:

- The website doesn’t list my city in France when I try to enter my home address.

So I used my sister’s address instead (different city).

But all my freelance-related documents show my real address (the one that’s missing from the site.)

➡️ Will that be a problem?

- I’m applying from Bali and I’m French. I know I need to translate all the documents,

but I don’t want to pay 40€ per page like the websites suggest.

I plan to translate them myself.

➡️ Has anyone done this?

➡️ Is it okay to only translate the main parts of the bank statements (not every small transaction full of codes and letters)?

- The 15,000€ are not on my current account, but on a savings account (called “Livret A” in France).

It still shows up at the end of my bank statement.

➡️ Is that acceptable?

Thanks so much for your help!

Really appreciate any advice!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking guidance on the DTV application process, specifically regarding issues with their home address not appearing on the application website and the translation of documents required for their visa application from Bali. They inquire if using a different address (their sister's) would pose a problem, whether self-translated documents are acceptable, and if funds in a savings account ('Livret A') would be considered valid for the financial requirements. Responses from the community suggest that having a different address is not a major issue if properly explained, and self-translation could work as long as key financial documents are accurately depicted.

Salut, Mon adresse physique était différente de celle de ma société, ça ne pose pas de souci. Par contre pour info il a fallu que je leur fournisse: extrait Kbis et relevé INSEE les deux de moins de 2 mois. Après j'ai fait la demande à Paris.

Maybe mention that address issue in a letter so that they understand why. I applied in France, and the money was also on my Livret A. You can also mention that Its a saving account but you can access that money anytime

I self-translated my contracts and bank statements. Bank statements i just translated the income deposits and a couple of other transactions not every transaction but made sure the balance matched the original. Is that French savings acount an instant cash withdrawal account?

My bank statements are in Japanese. Transactions descriptions and amounts, my address all needed to be translated into English as per Taipei embassy requirements. The embassy required original and translated versions.
