I'm on a retirement visa and trying to do my 90 day report (due 9 August) online. When I accept the terms and conditions on the website, I'm taken back to a 90 day report button which takes me to the terms and conditions page again. I can't seem to reach the application page. What am I doing wrong? I'm using Google Chrome.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is experiencing difficulties completing the online 90 day report for their retirement visa, repeatedly being redirected to the terms and conditions page without reaching the application form. Community members suggest troubleshooting steps such as disabling pop-up blockers and autofill features in Google Chrome, using an alternative browser like Firefox, and confirming that all necessary boxes are checked before proceeding. Some users recommend visiting in person if the online system continues to be problematic.

Did you scroll all the way down and check the box before continuing?

I want to thank
@Tod ********
for his online 90 day reporting advice. I successfully did my report online for the first time ever (8 years living here) thanks to his advice! Firefox and turned off autofill and pop up blockers 😁

I've tried every remedy suggested and still get stuck in the "do loop". Can't seem to break the curse. Other more astute (or lucky) retirees have had success, but not I. Keep trying if you have the time. Or, accept your plight in life as I have and simply do your "check-in" in person, where you can put your Mk 1 Mod 0 eyeball on the stamp /paper proving you fulfilled your obligation. Some of the "on line" systems seem about as reliable as gas-station sushi.

If the 90 day online report system does not work, AND you’re within the proper timeframe, AND you already filed one 90 day report in person, there are some troubleshooting techniques you can use to try and get the system to work for you.

1. Make sure you’re filling in the information, and only the information, requested.

2. Make sure you are keying in the date and month correctly

3. Turn off any pop-up blockers

4. Turn off any auto-translate

5. Turn off any VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) that you may be using - including any data saving applications

6. If you’re using one of the applications, use the web-based system

7. If you’re using the web based system, try using a different browser and clear the cache.

8. Make sure your web browser isn’t automatically filling in the forms.

9. Make sure you aren’t confusing “O”(Oh) with “0” (zero)

If the system still doesn’t work, then you may need to file it in person.

what was your last entry date into the country

?

5 Apr 2015.

THAT could be the reason. It could be you entered the country and got a TM6 arrival departure card BEFORE they were putting them in the data base. :/

Even though you can do 90 day reports in person and by mail the online system will not work for people who came in before they started putting the TM6 numbers in the data base automatically.

well, there ya go! Once again ahead or behind the power curve depending on the circumstance. Thanks for the likely explanation.

Is it better to do it on a smartphone instead of a laptop?

@Michelle ******
always done on smartphones with chrome, never had problems

You need to turn OFF popup blocker, turn OFF autofill and auto translate on Chrome

OR just use fire fox..
