Hello I am suppose to do my first 90 day reporting for my DTV visa. My visa was approved on October 8 so it means my 90 days is on January 8. But I realized there isnt an available appointment until January 10 at least. Is it true I can still go do the 90 day reporting 7 days past my 90 day date? so i can still go and do the reporting between October 8-15 and not be penalized?

Or is the option of just going to the immigration building to do a walkin queue an option as well?

thank you if anyone can help answer!

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can indeed report your 90-day stay in Thailand up to 7 days past the deadline. This means you can report between the 15th day before and the 7th day after your due date without penalty. You do not necessarily need an appointment; walk-ins are accepted, although wait times may vary by province. Some users have reported successfully completing their reporting without an appointment by simply waiting in line at the immigration office.

Correct. You can go late up to 7 days after or 14 days before. You can do the first report by post as long as it arrives before your due date. Since you report to the local provence immigration send by post should not take more than 3 days. Offical docs:

It depends which province you're in. It took me 3 hours in Bkk and 15 minutes in Pattaya. Just walk in Thursday.

Shame you left it late. 15 days before you can do by mail. Just go to the office anytime between now and Jan 26 and do in person

I'm not sure you understand what a 90 day report is.

It is you reporting that you've been in Thailand for 90 consecutive days. It doesn't matter when your visa was approved. Your report will be 90 days from the date you entered Thailand.

While having an appointment will make reporting at the immigration office faster, it's certainly not required. You can just wait in line like everyone else.

The window for doing a 90 day report is 15 days before your due date until 7 days after.

so if I entered the country on October 10th, my 90th day is Jan 8, and I make an appointment to go on the 10th I’m still ok?
