TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to update their visa status from education (ED) to Digital Work Visa (DTV) at Krungthai Bank after switching to a new phone. Concerns arise about potential account issues due to this change. The comments include mixed advice: some suggest proceeding with caution, not mentioning the visa, and focusing on the app installation, while others speculate about possible account cancellation upon notifying the bank of the visa change.
Try not to create an issue where there is none. Yes to install the app you're probably going to have to go into the bank, bring your passport and make sure that the passport number they have on file is the same as matching your phone, passport and SIM number from your SIM provider. If it were Bangkok Bank you'd probably lose your account, but with KTB who knows. Do not talk about your Visa. Talk about installing on a new phone.

Once they see your DTV visa they will almost surely cancel your acct
But you might fall through the cracks
Good luck

Well, don't do it! If you need to continue using your Thai bank account while on a DTV, LAY LOW. Do not contact your bank to update your records...as your account could be suspended if you do.
