update: just received my dtv visa💫 applied online 28.11  in Indonesia. 29.11 I was asked for additional document which was picture of a stamp on arrival, received visa Monday 2.12 evening ✨

Anonymous participant 115 remote work. Contract, 6 months statment,first submited proof of confirmation of my booking in Jakarta then they requested visa

Majority of embassies, a closing balance of 500k plus 3-6 months statements is sufficient. Laos you need 500k for 3 months, Malaysia I think is 6 months.

- Not true. the 80,000 USD requirement is for the LTR visa, which also has a digital nomad option. However, this first goes through BOI approval process. Nothing to do with DTV.
