How does the application process for a Soft Power visa in Thailand work, especially regarding employment documentation?
Hi all, applying for Soft Power at DC. Won’t be working while in Thailand but currently employed. Worried if I put my employer, they may call them or ask for documentation even though it’s soft power.
Anyone in this position or has advice?

Depends on the embassy, even I applied with soft powers I got asked to prove how I earned that 500k in the bank and to show the money going from work into my bank account. Not sure if that's done in DC as well

i applied for soft power with thai embassy dc and got approved. im unemployed and no income. i put that on application and didnt get request to show anything. Just make sure you have 16,000 USD maintained in saving or checking for last 3 months.
