TLDR : Answer Summary
The user received approval for a DTV visa after five business days in Hanoi, submitting various documents including teaching screenshots, bank statements, an e-visa, and lease agreement, without needing extra documentation or a cover letter. Comments included questions about medical insurance proof, whether the email confirmation implies further steps at immigration, and inquiries about the user's teaching company.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight βοΈ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
Congrats! I applied from the US and currently still awaiting approval after a week. Is your emailed letter all that is required upon approval or will you need to go to immigration to set up Bangkok banking account and receive some other formal documents or is this email considered the actual DTV visa?
