Thai embassy in Sweden is amazing. I applied for the DTV visa online and two days after I received a request for additional documents. They asked for payslips and a letter verifying my remote work status. While my employment contract clearly states that I can work remotely, I also provided a letter from my CEO confirming this. I recieved my approval letter the same day I sent in the payslips.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shared their positive experience applying for a DTV visa at the Thai embassy in Sweden. After submitting the application online, they received a request for additional documents, including payslips and a confirmation letter regarding their remote work status. They received the approval letter the same day they provided the payslips. A comment advised applicants to print out the DTV visa email as proof for airline check-in and to present it upon arrival in Thailand.

Thank You for your helpful report 👍

Congratulations 👏👏👏

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
