TLDR : Answer Summary
If you have overstayed your visa in Thailand by about 10 days, you will need to exit the country, preferably by air as land borders are currently closed. The overstay fine is 500 THB per day. Malaysia is currently closed for visa applications, but Cambodia is open for air travel. It's advisable to consult with your employer about which consulate to use for the Non-B visa application.

By air. The land borders are still closed. The overstay fine is 500THB a day.

As of right now, Malaysia is closed.

Cambodia is open by air.

Talk to your employer about the consulate they want to use for the Non-B visa.

Not legally. And it'll result in a lot of problems if they have a real job.

>meaning the employers letter must be address to .

The employer must write a letter to the consulate asking for the Non-B visa to be issued. Different consulates have slightly different requirements.

>And the requirements in getting back?

You will need a Thai pass, approved health insurance valid for 89 days (the length of the entry stamp from the Non-B visa), and booking at a test-n-go center.
