How long do I have to leave the country after my NON-B expires? My NON-B expires 31st March. I'm having problems booking a flight to Russia because of the conflict. Is there a 'grace period' where i'm allowed to stay in the country before attracting fines? Or what are my options to avoid being fined whilst waiting for flights to start up again?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The NON-B visa does not provide a grace period after expiration, meaning you must leave Thailand by 31st March unless you have successfully applied for an Extension of Stay or are still within the first 90 days of entry. If you are unable to book a flight due to the conflict in Russia, it's advised to contact your Russian Embassy for assistance and consider visiting your local immigration office to inquire about possible options. If an Extension has been applied for but not yet decided, you may receive 7 days to leave after its denial.

no. It means you have to apply for an extension on (or before the expiry of your current extension). When do you stop working? That's the date you need to cancel your work permit and therefore the date your extension expires also. Doesn't matter what's in your passport
If you already visited the Immigration Office for the Extension of Stay, you cancel your work permit and cancel this Extension of Stay at the Immigration Office. You apply for a new Extension of Stay if you can meet any requirements, if you can not meet those, your application will be not approved and you get 7 days to leave the Kingdom.
The stamp reads "Extension of stay permitted up to 31st March 2022. Holder must leave the kingdom within the date specified here in. Offenders will be prosecuted' Sorry forgot the last part of the stamp says holder must leave. So are my only options to either get an new contract/non-B with my school or apply for an extension of stay?
You have to apply for any extension with paying fee to get "7days to leave the country" as your application would not be approved. Otherwise, you will be on overstay on the day after.
I have a non-B visa passport date stamped 31st March. My contract is ending at my school 31st March. Unfortunately, I told the school last December I was leaving the country after the contract finishes. I was planning to leave the country 30th March and booked my flight. All was ok until the war in Ukraine and my flight got cancelled. The only other available flights are 3 times the price! I'm now trying to re-negotiate another contract with my school, stay for another year, then go back to Russia next year after the war is over, but the school have other teachers available and I'm not sure now if they'll now give me another contract. I shouldn't have told them my plan to leave last December! So are you saying I have 7 days to leave after my contract ends or I have to apply for an Extension of stay?
If you still during the first 90 days you got on entry, you can stay until the Admitted until date and than OR have to apply for an Extension of Stay if you can meet any requirements, OR leave the country.
