Hi, I obtained a DTV from the Thai embassy in London.
I printed a copy to travel with but we had a super rushed transit through BKK to our onward flight for Krabi and I completely forgot to show the paperwork, I mistakenly believed it would be on their system as soon as my passport was scanned.
Subsequently my very travel weary brain decided it would be a good idea to check my passport and my stamp was just the 60 day one.
Has anyone had a similar experience and could offer advice on the best course of action? Many thanks
TLDR : Answer Summary
A user recently shared their experience of mistakenly not presenting their DTV visa paperwork when entering Thailand, resulting in them receiving a standard 60-day entry stamp instead. Several commenters provided advice on how to rectify the situation, suggesting options such as returning to the original entry point for correction, visiting local immigration offices for assistance, or using the multiple entry feature of their visa to re-enter the country and activate the correct status. They emphasized that Krabi's immigration services might also be helpful.
