TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Non-O visa in the UK for individuals over 50, you typically need to show either £18,000 in savings or proof of an income of £1,500 per month for three months. The bank balance should be maintained for at least 10 days before applying. Besides financial proof, you will also need to submit various documents, including a passport, utility bills (or alternative proof of address like a bank statement), and recent photographs. It's important to check specific requirements from the Thai embassy's website, as there are preferred file formats for document submission.

Sorry to be a pain again i dont have any utility bills in my name at my address so would my uk Drivers licence & my bank statements with my address be ok?
Tom Whyte "not pdf"??? . . . that's what the London website says: "Compatibility: All documents should be uploaded as PDF, JPG, or JPEG files. Applicants can merge multiple files in the same category into a single PDF file. Each file should not exceed 3 megabytes. Screenshots and password-protected files are not accepted." . . . . . . . . . . .please do not post any misinformation. Scans of the passport page, you utility bill and your current face, in pdf format actually are better than jpg pictures and more accepted . . . . . "Clarity: All documents should be scanned or photographed in a clear and readable resolution. Please avoid cropping, blurring, or redacting of any information."
Nongnuch Kamdee I applied in October last year and had everything prepared in PDF files on laptop just ready to drop down and then it refused PDF and had to convert everything into JPEG with a bit of help from my son who is more tech savvy than me
They want proof of £18,000 in a savings account, or £1,500 a month income for 3 months. These are the figures given to me by the embassy. Apparently they use a very generous exchange rate.
Usually it’s a selfie copy of passport proof you are in uk ie bill address where you are staying etc .You can save your application every time so just go ahead and get as far as you can
