I have a Non Immigrant OA Visa, due date for extension 21 April in Chiang Mai. I’m unable to get health insurance because of age 80+ and pre-existing medical issues. Plan was to do a border run, exit which cancels my OA, and on re-entry get a VOA, go to Immigration and apply for a Non O for 90 days etc. I’ve left it too late. Now not possible. What to do?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is facing challenges in extending their Non Immigrant OA Visa due to being over 80 and having pre-existing medical issues, making it difficult to obtain health insurance. They had initially planned a border run to obtain a Visa on Arrival (VOA) but realized it's now too late. Other users suggested obtaining a letter from their Embassy to request an Extension of Stay while searching for a solution.
