Why you want to stop working for the next 5 years while being in Thailand?

Anonymous participant You asked to apply for soft power, no more working.

IF you want to work, get your documents in order and apply again with purpose workcation.

Anonymous participant I know, but Ei Ee thinks he is allowed to mix and match different types of visa to suit his needs.

who says you can’t work remotely with soft power? It’s the same visa with the same rules. There’s nothing that says one is allowed to work remotely and one isn’t. As long as you aren’t working for a company in Thailand you can work remotely in the same way.

El-Ee Okay, YES, it is the same visa, but with 3 different purpose to apply.

YOU are not allowed to change the requirements set for each purpose.

Set by Thai Government is Workcation (digital nomad/remote worker/foreign talent/freelancer)

the only difference is how you qualify, not what you can do after entry. You can go to Muay Thai and still do whatever you want for work remotely. There’s nothing that says you can’t.

El-Ee Okay, sorry did not know you are the newly elected Thai MP of Foreign Affairs, strange that you still need a visa.
