I highlighted the countries's currencies where I operate to proof that i don't operate in Thailand. I don’t why i got rejected? Did i miss something or what? Should i contact them? My surface level feedback: you significantly increase the odds of getting the DTV if you are 1. physically located in the country of your passport/nationality 2. your businesses are registered there 3. you do business within that country 4. your currency is in that country 5. your addresses tie to that country 6. you apply within that country.

Working e-commerce cash on delivery.. maybe officer scared you are scammer

Did you write a strong cover letter to explain your situation financially and confirm you’re able to work remotely and won’t conduct business in Thailand?

Did you receive any additional request for documents? If so, what did they want?
Benjamin *********
Nobody knows we dont have any detail of the rejection and they dont always give details. Try with an agent.

Sri Lanka maybe easier now

What passport?

I have given up on getting a DTV. Without some clarity on why the visa was not approved, it's crapshoot, with the odds favoring the house. I'm not handing them money I'll never see again if something doesn’t suit a clerk at an embassy.

Was the money in your own saving bank account? No crypto, no stocks, no bs?

If your paperwork dont is not good enough then you will get rejected. Feel free to dm me about it

Did you apply as self-employed? They prefer you to be employed with a long-term contract. I had the same situation and I got it in the end. After many weeks and hundreds of pages of documentation, workation DTV.

did you stay in Vietnam during the application process, many don’t & come to Thailand and get rejected?

Apply in your home country. I'm African and my first application in a foreign country was rejected. I reapplied in my home country and got approved.

No good contacting them. There is no right of appeal. You can apply elsewhere.

You can try contacting them but they don't have to give a reason. Was your application rejected or cancelled?

reject sir
Sofia *********

In your experience sir . What would be the reasons of a straight rejection
John **********
There are far too many reasons to try and cover. The reason I asked is that if it was cancelled it is most likely an issue with your biodata, it could also be the reason for being rejected but usually they cancel in this scenario

Christer *****
Maybe they aren't happy with money coming from those countries in that form.
Kazakov ******
You can try again in Laos. They still have in person documents accepting process.

fairy tale.

bla bla bla)
John **********
@Kazakov *****
no they don't, you pay in person but that's it unless you mean the interview but that's really just a formality, they've already reviewed everything
Kazakov ******
@John *********
of course there is no interview, but if they refuse you can ask why. It was my real case. They refused and i did not take documents back, asked why and made them tell me what additional documents are required. And second attempt was successful. So no fairy tale, just experience.
John **********
@Kazakov *****
you were lucky, normally they don't do that

anyway you can use helpers like Sabai Pataya who makes Visa Runs to Laos and help with documentation and all other processes
