What should I do about my birth certificate request before my immigration interview in Thailand?

So I was having a couple of issues in regards to identity and the requested document order time. They requested a birth certificate and it was going to take up to 4 weeks for me to get one.

I sent in a word file explaining my situation under the requested birth certificate and asked if they can extend my application process an extra few weeks and instead they have told me to come in for an interview.

If I go for the interview and I don’t have this, is it going to be an issue? Surely they wouldn’t request an interview without some other option of proof of identity?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is facing issues with obtaining a birth certificate required for a Thailand visa application. They've requested an extension due to a four-week processing time for the document but were instead asked to attend an interview. Concerns arise over what will happen if the birth certificate is not available at the interview, and whether alternative proof of identity might be acceptable.

They told you not to come in? Sounds like you are going to be rejected, your file could be flagged for multiple entries

Bro it sounds like they understand your situation so they have asked you to come in for an interview rather than having to supply a birth certificate

Can you share what they said to you exactly? Did they already schedule an appointment for interview? Was it ever said that this document was related to “proof of identity” for interview? Do you have any negative history with Thai immigration?
