TLDR : Answer Summary
A user has a 90-day Non-O visa with an incorrect date of birth. They are concerned about potential issues upon arrival in Thailand and whether the error might be noticed by immigration officers. Community responses emphasize the importance of correcting the error before traveling, suggesting contacting the visa issuing office for assistance. While some believe minor errors may go unnoticed, others stress that any discrepancy could cause problems, especially for future immigration procedures.

well. do you still have access to your e-visa application? Did the embassy refer to your passport scan, or did they refer to something you entered manually ? If you entered the correct date but the embassy misinterpreted the passport detail page scan, the mistake is on the embassy. A simple email to them explaining the error might be the best approach to get your visa re-issued with the correct birth year. If the mistake was on you, I would not report it unless you want to lose the fee and are okay to re-submit
If you have not used the visa and you have just been sent the confirmation pdf and if its a mistske they have made I would email them and send them an image of the visa with the error circled and an image showing the dob in your passport. Give them a few days / a week to reply then call them if you havent had any correspondence. If its your mistake when filling in the form they could void your viss and you would have to reapply
Its a 90 day Non Immigrant O visa incorrectly showing my date of birth 1956 instead on 1955. I will use it for entering Thailand by air in a few weeks .
My question was what should I do ? I wondered if this would be picked up by the Immigration Officer at arrival and cause me a problem.
I have no idea what to do and was hoping that someone might have relevant advice .
Paul Searle You should get it corrected before travelling. You don't want an incorrect visa stamped into your passport especially if you're going to use it to getva long term visa. Someone will notice and when you open your bank account it might cause issues. So you should contact the visa issuing office asap.
Ian DelMar I'm not going to use the visa for anything else , only entering the country and then leaving within 90 days . My worry is might I be refused entry if the Immigration Officer notices the mistake ?
Paul Searle simply if you have a worry get it corrected. The folk on this page suggesting not to worry it will get sorted when you land are not the ones risking it. The immigration office has last say ... Should have been done right and now you may have a chance to sort it .

Non-O is the visa which may stay with you for many years extending it - have it fixed as will come to light down the line. A printed copy of it is part of the annual extension requirement.
