TLDR : Answer Summary
A user reported uncertainty after receiving a potentially incorrect entry stamp at BKK, despite being reassured by the officer. Community comments agree that as long as the correct information is recorded in the immigration electronic system, the individual should be fine. Many shared similar experiences and suggested contacting immigration for confirmation, as mistakes in stamping are common and often corrected in the system.
They are human at the end. Yet it is good you have noticed it. And we advise everyone to check thier stamps always at any country before leaving the immigration zone
You should be fine especially if if you brought it up to the Immigration officer and they said that you are good because they are looking in their internal system.
Anonymous participant 851 😂😂😂 It isn't as miserable as posting on a group for confirmation when an official told you it is okay. Some people have zero brain cells. I don't even know how they managed to book a flight on their own without the parents help.
It's OK. Happens often. As long as it was corrected on the system, any police/Immigration officer can check it on the system. As for hotels, etc., they couldn't care less about "suspicious" stamps.
He handwritten the date. As long as the officer says it's OK then you'll be OK. Your entry is already recorded and also your photograph is in the system
Happens from time to time, and you can assume this will be fine. The stay recorded in the immigration electronic system is the most important element and is likely correct. Just keep your flight ticket, boarding pass, and TDAC.
