Hi guys!

Does anybody knows the requirements to get a tourist visa in the Savannakhet and Vietiane Thai embassy ?

Regarding the bank statement, is a printed bank statment enough ?

I got denied entry once so this is very important for me to get back in Thailand.

Thank you!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
This post discusses the requirements for obtaining a tourist visa from the Thai embassies in Savannakhet and Vientiane. The main focus is on whether a printed bank statement is sufficient for visa application, particularly considering a previous denial of entry into Thailand. Community members provide insights about documentation needed, such as proof of onward travel and accommodation, and share personal experiences with the visa process, highlighting the importance of complying with immigration rules.

Just for your reference,

There are two times you're likely to be asked for proof of funds and they are handled completely differently

One time is at a thai consulate when you BUY a visa. In that instance if you are asked for proof off funds you show a bank statement, you CANNOT show cash

Another time is when you are stamping IN to the country. In that instance if you are asked for proof of funds you show cash, you CANNOT show a bank balance or c/c..

And by simply reading and putting things next to each other:

1. How many months in 2019 were you in Thailand? 8 months, 6 of them under a non b visa

2. September my 3 months NON B came to an end, and my employer was still missing a document in order to make the non b extension, they said it will come in about a month, and I decided that it was a lot , as I was already overstaying,

It looks to me you did have more than 90 days overstay and are banned for re-entry or 1 year if you turned yourself in, or for 5 years if they arrested you. You know the best what happened and we can not give any advice than sit out your time.

But as you are younger than 50 years of age, not married with a Thai national, not have children study inside Thailand, do not work at the moment, can not apply for the Thai Elite Visa due you overstay history there is not much choice left.

How many years do you plan to stay in Thailand and how are you going to support yourself during those years?

would you still advise for me to get the tourist visa in my country ?

I understand this new story, you should worry as you try to live inside Thailand using what ever visa is available for short time. It is time for your plan B, get the visa that fits the length and purpose of your stay. Time of gambling with short times visas is gone.

January to mid march on a previous non b (2months and a half). from mid march to end of may on various exemptions and extensions. (3 months) from June to August on a 3 months NON B. 4 months outside of Thailand. but keep in mind that in 2018 I had 9 months on a non b and 3 on various tourist exemptions, and in 2017 2 months on exemption as well

Denied in Phuket in May 2019, why? You solved that to visit Sanavannakhet, did you apply and got a Single Entry Tourist Visa over there or did you just enter Thailand using a Visa Exempt Entry?

I can assume that you stayed in Phuket the last 6 months using a Non Immigrant B visa and a Work Permit but the contract is cancelled now?

What is your current permitted up to stay date? As the visa only gave you 90 days and then you visit the Immigration Office for 1 year Extension of Stay.

last time you came in using a land crossing. it is becoming very difficult to get any answer of you about your stay inside Thailand, As you are so worried, I can only guess there is much more which you do not like to tell, and I admire that, but there is no way we can give you advice. You now what you did, good luck in what ever you decide.

Because in anyways I don't think I can fly to Thailand, for what I understood, they will not let me in if I fly

Apply in France for a Tourist Visa. Why go all the way to Laos before you make your way into Thailand.

I'm out of Thailand since September now

Okay, that covers May, Jun, July depending on what date in may some days in August, that leaves out Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec and Jan 2020

I got denied in May 2019 because I tried to enter on a visa exemption twice in 3 months. I went to Savannakhet because my employer sent my documents to apply for NON B there after I got denied, they said it was the safest way to make sure I could go back inside. So I came back with a 3 months non b.

back to the topic . . . if you spent more than 6 months in Thailand in the previous 365 days, you can be denied a tourist visa in both places, Savannahkhet or Vientiane, and in HCMC

@Gregor *********
I don’t think that’s an actual rule. But people who are tourists generally aren’t here for

owns the company thai visa service. They run from Bangkok to the Cambodian AND Myanmar borders every day and two times a week they go to both thai consulates in Savannakhet AND Vientiane.

They are the real deal as far as a visa RUN company <- a company that takes people out of the country to get visas.

What is Thai visa service? Is that an agency?

a printed bank statement, a copy of onward travel and a copy of accommodation booking. a Visa can get denied based on your history of entry stamps and time spend inside Thailand. a Visa is not a guarantee that you can enter Thailand, as a tourist i not understand the very important part, there are such beautiful places to visit in the world a tourist.

yes the printout is enough.
