I am wondering which crossings to Myanmar that I can do the $10 usd 1-day pass and recieve 30days on arrival upon return using 1 of my 2 yearly land crossings into Thailand.

I know of mae sai, mae sot, and not sure what the name of the one in ranong is.

Heard there are 1 day passes to take a boat in ranong to cocks comb island, Myanmar.

Does anyone know if I can get 30 days on arrival upon return to Thailand from cocks comb island. I am correct to assume the water crossing is treated as a land crossing?

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the border crossings from Thailand to Myanmar that allow for a $10 USD 1-day pass, which provides a 30-day visa exemption upon returning to Thailand. The user inquires about specific crossings including Mae Sai, Mae Sot, and a lesser-known one in Ranong, later identified as Kawthong. Comments clarify that Kawthong and Andaman Club are recognized for this purpose, confirming that water crossings can also count as land crossings for the visa exemption, albeit with a limit of two crossings per year.

Good to know. =)

I'm try to find out how many Myanmar crossing points will let me pay $10 for 1day pass and get 30days exempt stamp upon return.

I will be touring the south to the north on a motorbike and want to use my 2 land crossings before 2018 and then 2 again before I return to the USA in April.

$10 usd is cheaper than 1900 baht extension or any other alternative I am aware of.

, there are more than that, but some will not let you bounce in&out for a 30 day visa exempt stamp.

Can do Kawthong in Rayong or Andaman Club, a few kms north. Both will give you a 30 day visa exempt stamp. There is a small possibility you will be asked for proof of funds, (10k). Immigration will not let you leave Thailand if they are not prepared to let you back in.

The one opposite Ranong is Kawthong (a distortion of "Koh Song") and yes you can do a visa-exempt border hop there (max. 2x per year land/water hops).
