Need help with Laos Citizen need long term Thailand visa...any website and suggestions. The person has done land border crossing  already..and is now in Kulalumpur

i would suggest: Start to do some research on visa. The question My friend needs a long term visa for Thailand can not be answered. The problem is that nobody know why your friend needs a long term visa. If a visa is needed due to work, his employer will help him out. Good luck

Laotians can enter as many times as they want there is no limit to the number of 30 day visa waivers they get. Now you might be having problems of them bouncing out and back in at a specific border but there is no official limit to the number of times they can enter by land

They can get an O visa like anyone else, if they meet the requirements (my wife did this). But as Tod Daniels says most just do border runs every month (or seemingly overstay!)

as far as a long term visa option, I don't know other than to say IF they're working here they need to have their employer help get them their visa

OR send them back to Lao and have them get a 6 month multi-entry tourist visa <- which they can't work on but can get almost 9 months of stay from.
