Hello ! My friend in India has received documents from a respective school. I have read somewhere that they need a balance of 12 lacs in their Indian bank account for a single entry tourist visa . I wanted to ask if this the same for NON B (teacher’s visa) .

We have been trying to call the Royal Thai Embassy, New Delhi but to no avail . Any updates or information would be highly appreciated .

However , what is the amount of bank balance required to show for a NON B visa ? And has anyone recently applied for a NON b visa from Embassy of Delhi ?

Thank you again !

TLDR : Answer Summary
The author inquires about the required bank balance for a NON B (teacher's) visa for Thailand, specifically relating to documentation needed for a tourist visa. Comments suggest that schools often cover the visa fees and might not require applicants to show a substantial bank balance. There's uncertainty around the amount, with indications that the requirement might be lower than previously thought.

Well if you have a School that deliver all papers for a business visa.. All OK... No need to show bank papers

Suppose to reduce from Rs 12,00,0000

Agree with what

says. Schools actually usually pay for your visa rather than require money for it. Beware scams.
