Hello!
I believe I need to show 20,000 baht in my account when applying for a Non B Visa One Year Extension.
Does anyone know if this has to have any other qualifiers, like how long the amount has been in the account or where it came from? Or is a simple bank balance sufficient?
TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Non-B Visa One-Year Extension in Thailand, it appears that showing a bank balance of 20,000 baht may not be necessary for all cases. Some responses indicate that other documentation like pay stubs and tax receipts may suffice, especially if the extension is employment-based. It is advised to check with the local Immigration Office for the comprehensive list of requirements, as the local guidelines may differ from general expectations.
