TLDR : Answer Summary
The legal requirement for travelers entering Thailand with a non-immigrant education visa states that they should carry at least 10,000 baht. However, in practice, many immigration officers expect to see 20,000 baht instead. It's advisable to be prepared for this, as immigration officials may request proof of monetary funds upon arrival.

is correct. Carry 20,000 Thai baht or its equivalent in CASH. Its better to be prepared if asked. And IF ASKED...Thai Immigration are asking to see 20,000 Thb ...not 10,000.

Technically the law stated for a Visa Exempt Entry it is 10.000 Thb and for visa holders 20.000 Thb. But as we seen in many reports the Immigration Officers are asking 20.000 Thb, if they ask and do not care you have a visa or not.

and if in airport people have different currency, is it ok or immigration in airport want to verify only thai baht ?

Technically the law states 10k but in practice if asked by an immigration officer they'll want to see 20k in baht or equivalent and could ask for onward flight details and proof of accommodation.

Onward travel should be within the validity of your permitted stay. There is no Non Imm ED visa that allows you to stay for 12 months

you may not be asked no one can say if you will be. If you are they are the proofs that can be asked for. As I said technically the law states 10k but in reality it's 20k per person or 40k for a family. Cash only.
