TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking confirmation on the order of tasks required to travel to Thailand amidst COVID-19 regulations. A list of necessary steps involves obtaining a passport, applying for a visa, booking health insurance, securing plane tickets, and arranging accommodations. Additional comments clarify that certain steps like applying for a Certificate of Entry (COE) and obtaining COVID tests must also be prioritized. The process is convoluted and can require significant preparation and financing.

I am of the understanding that health insurance needs to be purchased prior to applying for the visa. In my case the health insurance documents need accompany all other required documents when applying for the visa. My visa type will be Non O-A (long stay).

Test results and f2f must be issued within 72 hours of flight. Test can be taken outside the 72 hour window.

@Ryan *******
Are you sure about test? I thougt time of 72 start when you make the test

@Γιώργος ***********
as long as the results are issued within 72 hours of your flight you are good.

Some places are so busy testing you can’t get your results in 1-3 days. So you’d chance not getting the results in time for the flight. I’ve heard of some places taking 5-7 days for results.
