A little visa help please for Non-O ๐Ÿ™‚ I am having a baby in the USA and returning with her to Chiang Mai in September (hopefully). I will be renewing my work permit the next week for one year then the week after applying for a 6 month visa extension. My husband and other daughter are already dependents. Does anyone know what the process is to add another dependent? Do I just apply for Non-O visa in the States as usual before I return and then how do I get the new child on the same cycle as the rest of us? Thanks for any help!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
To add a new dependent (your baby) to your Non-O visa, it is recommended to apply for the baby's Non-O visa in the U.S. before returning to Thailand. Upon arrival, the baby will receive a 90-day entry stamp. After that, you can go to the immigration office to apply for an extension that aligns with your visa cycle. Make sure to renew your work permit and apply for a 6-month visa extension during your return to Thailand.

So let me see if I understand

You are OUT of thailand now in the US and will not be returning until after the baby is born, AND when you come back you will apply for your new work permit and a new extension right?

once you have the baby apply for a non-O visa for it before you come back, they will get stamped in for 90 days when they show up here and then when that runs down you go to the immigration office and get an extension that matches yours.
