I have a long-ago issued non-oa visa with a multiple entry thingy, both set to expire Nov 11 2020. When I renewed most recently, my insurance papers satisfied the IO. Arriving at Don Mueang today, I was processed promptly and got a stamp til Nov 11 as hoped for. Great service, smiles and next to no line ups either. Cheers.

Did they ask you to show your insurance?

just to explain. He used to have a Non Immigrant O-A visa, after this visa passed the valid until date, he applied (renewed) for an Extension of Stay based on being over 50 years of age and got this with the end date of 11 Nov 2020. To keep this Extension of Stay alive while travel he also bought the Multiple Re-Entry Permit (multiple entry thingy). That is why he gets on entry the same date 11 Nov 2020.

Shouldn't your stamp be until Jan 4 2021?

Why Jan 4, 2021?
