TLDR : Answer Summary
To divorce in Thailand, visit the Amphur with your spouse, both possessing your marriage certificate. If both agree, complete a simple form and, if there are no children or asset disputes, you can obtain a divorce within an hour without a lawyer. If amicable, it is straightforward and low-cost. Otherwise, consider consulting a lawyer for assistance.

You both go to the Ampur where you were married, both taking your marriage paper with you. Tell them you want a divorce, both fill out a paper, the clerk will help you. If there are no children or assets and she doesn't want monthly payments ( hopefully she wants the divorce too ) you see the big guy, he'll talk to you a bit sign off. They'll give you each a divorce paper and you're on your merry way. takes all of an hour, no lawyer need.

Some very sad and unhelpful replies. If it's amicable just go to the local Amphoe, if not seek the services of a lawyer. Sad that people think it's so amusing?

If she's agreeable then really easy, no lawyers required. A quick visit to the Amphur, can be done same day, costs next to nothing.

Best to hire a lawyer, if there is no argument about property or money, fairly straightforward. Good luck
