Afternoon guys, I need a little advice if possible from anyone familiar with Jontiem immigration.
I’ve still 3 weeks on my visa and wish to extend it 30 days ( which I’m entitled too😇)
What is the specific counter I go to & do I register or fill anything in first?
I popped down for a look the other day & didn’t see any obvious signs… the Q at the information desk had around 30 people in and snaking out the door!
Thanks in advance and for previous spot on advice 🙏🏻

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user seeks advice on extending their visa at Jontiem immigration, expressing concern over the long lines and asking for direction on the proper procedure. The comments clarify that while one can apply for a 30-day extension, it is subject to approval by the immigration office and not guaranteed. One comment suggests applying closer to the visa's expiration date and reflects on the necessary documents to bring, including photocopies and proof of residence.

In my experience you will applying to early, better to go with three days or so to go...you enter the bigger building to the left after the offices, que forever and they will tell you what you need to photocopy etc... not exhaustive copy bio page, copy entry stamps, take a couple of each, a photo, proof or residence TM30...I am not a pro and probably stand to be corrected but a bit more info than questioning wether entitled or not
Actually you're not entitled to extend your stay for 30 days, you are entitled to apply for that extention but it's only granted at the discretion of your local Immigration office. Many with a history of entries are now being refused.
