TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about experiences related to extending an expired Non-Immigrant O Multiple Visa. It received comments asking for clarification on the type of extension desired and noting a new amnesty policy that restricts experiences shared until immigration offices reopen.

Since nobody has experience with getting any type of extension of stay with this new amnesty, I'm closing comments. Everyone can start applying for new extensions on August 3, when the immigration offices reopen.

What type of Non-O Multiple Entry, and what type of extension of stay do you want?

Non-O M people over 50. Normally I would have to leave every 90 days and then get another 3 month. Don't know what the immigration can do now. But they promised to extend Visa.

Here's my opinion:

1. There is a new amnesty program starting tomorrow. We should know what the process is on the 3rd, when the immigration office reopens.

2. On the flyer, it does say that people who are on long-term visas (that is, not tourist visas or visa exempts) have to submit an application for an extension of stay by September 26.

You *MAY BE* able to get an extension of stay based on being retired off amnesty. We just don't know yet...

thx. I understood that every extension for long term visa is for after 26. September. Until then we have all amnesty.

yes but if you do not get an extension of stay by September 26 you must leave the country. That is what Thai Immigration is now saying.
