TLDR : Answer Summary
The thread discusses experiences with applying for a 90-day tourist visa from the Thai Embassy in Madrid, Spain. Users share frustrations with communication from the embassy and discuss options for obtaining a visa, including applying on arrival in Thailand or getting a single entry tourist visa. They provide links to useful resources and suggest alternatives such as border runs for extending stay in Thailand.

Is Consulate Barcelona old info ? Or don't

they not do visa's.

That website is from the Thai government. I know there are some honorary consulates (like the one in Dallas, Texas). The one in Amsterdam may be the same type of honorary consulate.

The link you sent is not THAT reliable I think. Netherlands has a Consulate in Amsterdam for sure !!

Yep, sorry. Also on google maps I now see; "Permanently closed".

Or 2) Come to Thailand, get 30 days Visa Exempt Entry, visit before the last day an Immigration Office and apply for a 30 day Extension of Stay. Just before the last day, leave Thailand by border run, stamp out, stamp in/out neighbor country and stamp back into Thailand with a new 30 day Visa Exempt Entry, and if needed you can apply again for an 30 day Extension of Stay.

You have two options: 1) Visit the Thai Embassy in Madrid and get the Single Entry Tourist Visa, on entry in Thailand you get 60 days Admitted to Stay and within these 60 days you visit an Immigration office and apply for an Extension of Stay which will give you 30 days more.

What you need a is a single entry tourist visa. This visa is good for 60 days, extendable by another 30. My Spanish is terrible, but I believe this

Edit: I do not know if they issue visas to non-Spanish passport holders. If you are British, you may have to use another consulate?

You did not know or: I tried to get a tourist visa from the Thai website. But because I live in Spain and travel on a UK passport I get a message to apply " the usual way". What is the usual way. I can't go to the Embassy in Madrid I live hundreds of miles away from it.
