TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the application process for a multi-entry visa (METV) from the Thai Embassy in Madrid. Comments provide helpful information including the specific requirements for the METV and the necessity for applicants to either be Spanish citizens or residents of Spain.

A ver con ING… Gracias.

I've been doing SETV for last 5 years. I want a METV this time.

I think is clear, they ask a bank statment showing different amount of money if you work for somebody, by yourself, retirement... Anyway you can apply the easiest visa, a SETV (Single Entry Tourist Visa) and after 90 days (60 days stamp plus 30 days extension) you can do a visa run to a neighbour country for a new SETV.

Thank you. I know, but they ask for some papers from the bank that are not clear… I sent them an email but they don't answer… So I want the feedback from a person who applied for this visa recently.

To apply a METV in Madrid you must be Spanish or resident in Spain.

No, I never applied any visa in Madrid, but If you are resident just do it, no problem.
