TLDR : Answer Summary
To get a Thai married visa, you can first apply for a 3-month NON-O visa, which can be done at a Thai consulate. You will need various documents, including copies of your passport and your spouse's ID card, a signed rental agreement or a TamBien Baan, financial proof (400,000 baht in a Thai bank account for at least 2 months), photos of your residence (both inside and outside), a hand-drawn map to the immigration office, and your original marriage certificate along with two copies. After securing the NON-O visa, you can apply for an extension based on your marriage, ideally two weeks before the visa's expiration. It's also suggested to consult in expat groups for assistance.

and on that note, I believe the O/P has about all the information they need to decide their course of action trying to get a "marriage visa" :)

I can't see any reason to really keep it open anymore.

The group is so people can get the answers they need HERE instead of all the bad answers on google. If you don't know the answer or don't want to answer that's fine but telling people to use google defeats the purpose of the group.
