What is the fastest embassy for processing the Thai Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Southeast Asia, and where can I find sports courses that qualify for the soft power visa?

Hello everyone. I'm 3 weeks in to my first ever visit to Thailand and really like it here. I want to get the DTV and spend more time here. I want to get the soft power visa. Maybe take Muy Thai or some other sport / course.

I've seen a few people online talking about various embassies being faster about processing DTV applications than others, Jakarta and Taipei for instance.

Does anyone have any experience with embassies that process quickly in SE Asia? What about Cambodia?

Also, can anyone point me toward sports and/or martial arts class providers that would qualify for the soft power DTV?

Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A newcomer to Thailand seeks advice on obtaining a DTV visa to stay longer, specifically inquiring about the quickest embassy processing times in Southeast Asia and recommendations for sports or martial arts classes qualifying for the soft power DTV. Comments suggest that Jakarta and Taipei are among the fastest options for processing, while Cambodia is noted for slower services. Users also recommend specific gyms in Thailand that offer qualifying courses, such as Tiger Eye in Bangkok and Muay Thai Fever in Chiang Mai.

Taipei- same day in person approval. Now it is 2 -3 days online with an interview likely needed and for Soft Power you must provide employment documentation. I would say Jakarta, Vietnam and Manilla are "easier " , with approvals around 3-5 days. Tiger Eye is a well-known DTV approved Gym in Bangkok, Muay Thai Fever reputable gym in Chiang Mai.

Yes but Taipei requests unnecessary docs. Jakarta is very straightforward and follows the standard guidelines.
