Hi everyone!

We are a family of 4 currently in Thailand and planning to apply for the DTV visa under the Soft Power category (Muay Thai for my husband, Thai cooking for myself).

Since we need to get the main DTV approved first before we can apply for our kids as dependents, we want to avoid locations with a 3 to 4-week waiting time.

We are looking for a neighboring country with a fast turnaround.

Has anyone recently done this as a family in Myanmar? 

I see Vietnam and Laos taking longer now.

I know three in the last month that were in, and out, of Myanmar in a week, on the workcation category, not softpower.

Hey I will be going to Laos tomorrow. I will try to keep you updated on my process. We are a large family and doing Workcation.

I’m also currently in thailand . We have a small trip for 10 days praying all goes well.

Normally,

Malaysia is 11 days But request documentation a lot.

Myanmar is 21 days ,

No too much request documentation,

Vietnam and Lao is a little busy in this month.

Normally Vietnam and Lao is

14 days only.

If you wanna apply In Myanmar, You have to pay the application to the embassy. Not accepting online payment.
