TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers flying to Bangkok on Singapore Airlines may need to show an onward flight, especially if entering on a 30-day visa exemption. Experiences shared by users indicate that while some were asked for proof of an onward ticket, others were not. It's advisable to have an exit ticket ready to avoid potential issues upon arrival.

I flew in from Australia via Singapore to Bangkok last week and wasn’t asked for an ongoing flight on Singapore Air. I did get an “onward ticket” just in case as I arrived Visa Exempt too
You could be asked a onward ticket for any visa that’s not a non o or non b... that means any kind of tourist visa or visa exemption

I am going on a 30 day visa exempt, brought a cheap ticket to KL to show exit, will extend when in Thailand and not use ticket, better to have and not need than need and not have 🙏🙏

I don't know Steve, I'd run with the first answer since it didn't answer your question....

I flew to Phuket on 14 November and they asked me for my onward ticket.
