Hi everyone. I have to apply for my non-b at the end of the month. My school is preparing the info from the MOE. Which would be the easiest embassy to go to? I am in Phuket. I also have my 5 year old with me who will be applying for her ED Visa. It's a bit frustrating because my extension ends in the 2nd and we go on break on the 4th and my days off will come off of my pay. Is there any chance of some leniency if I go to Immigration in advance?

Also probably a silly question but will I need proof of onward travel?

Thank you again.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on the easiest embassy to apply for a Non-B visa in Phuket, as they are also applying for their child's ED visa. They express concerns about tight timelines regarding their current visa expiration and potential leniency at Immigration. Additionally, they inquire about the need for proof of onward travel in the application process.

Why not just fix it inside Thailand? So easier.

many companies (especially schools) can't meet the documentation to go from a 30 day visa exempt entry or a tourist visa entry to a 90 day Non-B inside the country at the immigration office.

The documentation is much more stringent inside the country than at a thai consulate outside the country

Go to Penang to get a single entry 90 day Non-B and the same in an Non-ED.

There is no chance of any leniency at the immigration office.

, you might want to not broadcast to the world that you are working illegally in thailand at a school without the correct visa or work permit ;) Just a suggestion.
