First off such a helpful group. TU! I’m US citizen. 53 years old with a Thai Child living In Thailand. I work outside the country at sea on a ship and can’t be in America to get Visa pre arrival to Thailand. So I always fly in on a 30 day exempt on arrival and then get an 30 day extension. This next trip I’m in country for a total total of 91days.
I fly in I would like to get a 30 Day Exempt on arrival and would like to go to Laos Vientiane, Savannakhet, Ho Chi Menh City to get a 90 day Non O Thai Child Visa. Then before I leave get a multiple Entry 1 year Non O dependent Visa or Extension. I have all needed information. 400k in Thai bank account, Mothers and Daughters ID, Birth Certificate and house book. Plus all my paperwork.
My question is what is the easiest Thai embassy mentioned above to get this accomplished at?
I fly in May 3 and will be flying out August 1. After securing the 90 day Non O Thai Child visa where do I get the extension? Out of country at same embassy I got the 90 day or at my local Sa Kaeo Thai immigration office?
Is the correct time to get the extension mid July?
Does anyone have the picture graph showing the process?
Thank you so much for your help!
TLDR : Answer Summary
A US citizen living in Thailand with a Thai child seeks advice on obtaining a 90-day Non O Visa and a subsequent extension while facing challenges due to their work schedule at sea. They plan to visit certain cities in Laos for this purpose and are seeking information on the best embassy to approach, the timing of the extension application, and a visual guide for the process.
