Hello everyone.

I just came back from the immigration in Lampang where I tried to get the 60 days covid extension. I'm holding a non b visa valid until the end of next month.

Is Jan 29th still the deadline for this extension? Because they told me to return in the middle of next month closer to the expiration of my visa. I told them about the deadline but they said it will not be a problem for my case (whatever they mean by that).

Anyone had similar experience?

Thank you
Answer summary
The user inquires about the deadline for a 60-day COVID extension on their non-B visa, mentioning they were advised to return closer to the expiration date. Comments suggest there may be further extensions after January 29th, and that the current policy may vary by visa type, with marriage visa holders facing stricter conditions.

People who were on marriage visas have been told no more covid extensions after this one. They have two months to meet the criteria for a return to a non-O or have to return home, so it looks like the covid extensions may be drawing to a close.

Probably means we'll be getting more extensions after the 29th Jan covid extension. Your visa is still valid until end of February so you should be fine.
