What is the current status of DTV and non-O visa processing times at the Thai Embassy in Australia?
Applied for DTV on 8 October, Canberra. Finally received approval today. A long wait. A friend applied for non O on 10 October, still yet to hear one way or the other. Departing Oz next week and stressing out. Embassy won't reply to emails or answer the phone.....

Now is high season for visa applications, so processing times may be longer than stated on the Embassy website for all types of visa.
Luckily for everybody they don’t waste time replying to mails or phone, to those who can’t read the Embassy website, where most questions are answered.
Most Embassy website gives a very thorough information about processing time.
Additional Documents reset the time counting back to 0, at the day the last document are submitted.
Some Embassies process according to travel date ( to the benefit of the applicant) rathed than application date.
Use search including Embassy name, to prevent asking questions that has been answered numerous times.
You just have to wait patiently.
