Anyone recently applied through Hanoi, Vietnam?

I understand it’s still within normal processing timeline, but I started anxious as I already booked a flight to Thailand this weekend (which can be extended of course).

It’s been more than a week, which I understand last week Wednesday was Thailand’s national holiday, but no signs (no additional requests) so far.

Anyone who got it recently? What was your approval process like?

Here’s my timeline:

Aug 10: application submission

Aug 11: Pending Approval (Processing)

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Mine took ages to come through, so I had to leave vietnam and enter thailand while it was still processing and it all worked out fine.

I submitted my first application around three weeks ago now and I was asked to submit more documents on the 7th August. I did that right away and it's been a waiting game ever since! I'm getting very anxious because I have to leave Hanoi in two weeks. I feel like something has something gone wrong since it's taking so long. Should I email them?

seems we are all in the same boat, patiently waiting. I heard August is a busy period. I think if it gets close to your flightb(maybe a week), then send them a polite email stating that your flight is due to depart soon and could they check. I've heard of people getting pushed through quickly after when a flight is booked.

I applied in Hanoi for the workcation recently. It was 'Pending Document Check' for 4 days and it's been "Pending Approval' for 12 days, so 16 days total. My application was solid and no additional documents were requested. I believe that the estimated approval time is 10-15 business days and there was a Thai holiday last week, also. I am expecting approval this week 🤞🏻

Approval in Vietnam typically takes 10-15 business days. Others who applied at a similar time are still waiting. No additional requests is a positive sign that you have submitted everything required.
